Developments in 2025
In 2025 I aim to hold peer supervision groups for psychotherapists and social workers; using art materials and somatic practices. Group goals will include:
A space for play and exploration
Nourishment from art materials and creativity
Bringing aliveness to places of stuck-ness (in our work, in ourselves as practitioners)
Externalisation to gain new perspectives
Mindfulness practice
Resourcing through engagement with the natural environment and our bodies
Sharing of challenges, re-finding joy
Experience with art-making or art-therapy is not required, only an interest and openness to explore. Materials provided.
Insights will be gained through your interactions with the art materials and circle-sharing. In these groups, my role will be as circle-holder and host, rather than teacher or direct supervisor.
Depending on the level of interest, my hope is to hold two groups- one for psychotherapists, and another for social workers in the many roles we hold in this profession.

My intake for 2024 is currently closed, but in 2025 I will be offering more individual supervision. This is particularly for social workers with an interest in incorporating mindfulness and somatic practices into their reflective process. People from other professional backgrounds are welcome to contact, and we can decide whether I am a good match for you needs and professional requirements.
Reflective topics may include:
Building more meaningful self-care practices (getting to the core of these issues rather than token activities)
Finding how body awareness might fine-tune your assessments skills and boundary management
Clarifying why you do the work that you do
Case consultation
Critical incident debriefing
Clarifying core values and career goals
Personal reflection on types of presentations that can be triggering for you
I am keen to work with people who have an interest in incorporating some art-making and somatic-practices into their supervision, but this does not necessarily mean you are using these in your own professional role.
While my practice is strongly influenced by studies in Hakomi, I am not qualified to offer Hakomi supervision. If this is your interest, there is a great list of practitioners here. My professional background is available here, please read this first to check that my experience aligns closely enough with your field of work.
